The Challenge: IATS Fort Wayne, a pioneering hybrid charter school specializing in agriculture and technology, faced the crucial task of building immediate credibility and attracting its inaugural student body ahead of its August 2025 launch. The challenge lay in translating their innovative educational vision into a clear, accessible, and engaging suite of online and print materials.

Website Development:

Building a Digital Hub

Objective: Design and develop a user-friendly, informative, and engaging website that serves as the primary digital touchpoint for IATS Fort Wayne.

Strategy & Execution:

  • Intuitive Navigation: We focused on creating a clear site structure that allowed prospective students, parents, and community members to easily find information about academics, enrollment, campus locations, and unique programs.
  • Modern Design & Visual Appeal: The website’s aesthetic was crafted to reflect the school’s forward-thinking mission, incorporating clean layouts, compelling imagery of agriculture and technology, and a color palette that aligns with their brand.
  • Responsive Design: Ensured optimal viewing and functionality across all devices (desktops, tablets, mobile phones) for accessibility and user convenience.
  • Key Information Accessibility: Prominently featured enrollment information, contact details, and a clear call to action for interested families.
  • Integration of Core Messaging: Seamlessly wove in the school’s mission, vision, and key benefits (tuition-free, hands-on learning, career pathways) throughout the site.

Impact: The new website successfully established a strong digital presence for IATS Fort Wayne, providing a central resource that clearly communicates the school’s value and sets the stage for a successful launch.

Print Media Design:

Tangible Connections

Impact: The tangible connections created through the print media campaign played a crucial role in building anticipation and awareness for the school’s opening, directly supporting early enrollment goals.

Objective

The objective was to create a cohesive suite of print media, including billboards, outdoor signage, and brochures, to extend the IATS Fort Wayne brand identity into the physical world and support community outreach and enrollment efforts.

Strategy & Execution

To ensure a successful launch, our strategy for print media centered on creating materials that were both eye-catching and informative. The brochures were designed as a detailed leave-behind, providing parents with a deep dive into the school’s unique curriculum and benefits. For billboards and outdoor signage, we used a different approach: large-format, bold graphics with minimal text. This was to ensure maximum readability for people driving by. We meticulously managed the visual consistency across all formats, making sure that whether someone saw a billboard or picked up a brochure, they instantly recognized the IATS Fort Wayne brand.

Social Media & General Consulting:

Building Community

Objective

The goal was to build a strong community around the IATS Fort Wayne brand before the school’s opening, using social media to drive awareness and providing strategic consulting to facilitate key connections and communications.

Strategy & Execution

  • Social Media Kickoff: We initiated a presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X, tailoring content to each audience. The strategy focused on building a community by sharing mission-driven content, answering prospective family questions, and highlighting the school’s unique curriculum.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: We provided general consulting to facilitate connections between IATS Fort Wayne leadership and key figures in the Fort Wayne community, including local educators, business leaders, and city officials.
  • Town Hall Support: We managed the technical aspects of recording and broadcasting town hall meetings, ensuring the school’s leadership could directly address the public and that the message was professionally captured and distributed for a wider audience.

Impact

The social media presence we created has successfully engaged the target audience, driving a significant number of inquiries and providing a direct line of communication for prospective families. Our consulting work helped to solidify IATS Fort Wayne’s reputation as a committed community partner even before its doors opened.
